Key Stone Seeds. Inc. Is a vertically integrated, premium forage, turf, cover crop and wildlife food plot seed company. We take great pride in the quality of our seed, the integrity of our hard work and top-notch customer service. We manage with the understanding and belief that humanity has to have seed. In 1977, key Stone Seeds started as a seed production farm specializing in seed oats, birdsfoot trefoil and red clover seed near Ashland, Wisconsin. In 1080, Key Stone Seeds Company was founded as primary producer/conditioner of birdsfoot trefoil, red clover Timothy, reed canary grass, and Kentucky bluegrass seeds. At this time seed was primarily marketed to the domestic nd international wholesale seed trade. In 1987, a new seed conditioning plant and warehouse was built in Ashland, Wisconsin. In 1998, growing to meet new demand, Key Stone Seeds enters the dealer business, marketing a complete line of forage and tug seeds to agronomy centers, retail farm stores and landscape contractors under the Key Stone Seeds brand. In 1999 Key Stone Seeds Purchased the small seed division of Schultz seed Company in Dietrich, Illinois. In 2008 Additional warehouse space with high capacity large and small been lines added to Ashland facility. iN 2011 Key Stone Seeds launched Keystoneseeds.com to expand into new market and reach new customers across the United States. In 2014, Key Stone Seeds accommodated growth and a distribution center was established in Windsor, Wisconsin. In 2017, Key Stone Seeds celebrates 40 years within the seed industry.
